amethyst seeds

Last week, Mojang released the first part of Minecraft’s most awaited update. Rather than changing world generation, Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs added new blocks and mobs.

Minecraft 1.17 Caves & Cliffs update seeds for amethyst geodes

If that’s not enough, this seed also features a complete shipwreck on the ground.

#3 – Village close an exposed geode

Even though geodes are supposed to generate underground, players will often come across exposed geodes at the bottom of oceans. This Bedrock seed features an exposed amethyst geode in an ocean biome. Players can identify the geode from smooth basalt’s dark texture.

Amethyst seeds

Amethyst is an unusual, bright purple skinned radish with very tasty white flesh. Successive plantings of Amethyst radish seeds every two weeks or so allows for harvests from April to October. The roots of Amethyst are slow to turn woody. Amethyst radishes are easy to grow and spectacular on the market table. Once cleaned after harvest, the little roots are incredibly bright. They look superb on the market table, in CSA farm boxes, and sliced into salads. Grown as microgreens, fresh radish greens are full of flavour, and bring a sharp accent to savoury dishes. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Quick Facts:

Time radish plantings one to two weeks apart for a longer harvest period. The secret to growing a great radish is to plant when the soil is cool, to not plant too close together, and to harvest promptly before the roots get woody and bitter. Every part of the radish is edible. Before they are fully mature, radish seed pods are tender and juicy with a wonderfully sharp flavour that is excellent in stir-fries and soups. The immature seeds themselves have a flavour and texture reminiscent of caviar. Continue reading below for our favourite tips on how to grow radishes from seed.
