The fourth beta version of OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 is now available for developers. It can be found on Apple’s Developer Downloads site, or downloaded from the Updates section of the Mac App Store on a Mac running the previous beta.

Beta Software Program members can also get the latest update. As with the developer beta, the public beta update can be found in the Mac App Store.

Recent rumors have Apple’s iPhone 14 coming without a notch, replacing it instead with a little pill-shaped camera cutout. A new mockup shows us what that might look like and my word does it look good.

Apple revealed its OS X 10.11 El Capitan today at Moscone Center at the WWDC 2015 Keynote address. Apple has tried to refine the experience of Yosemite with El Capitan introducing system-wide refinements, graphics improvements with metal, various under the hood performance improvements, and new features in Notes, Photos among others.

You can download OS X 10.11 Beta 1 build number 15A178w. You can get the update in the Mac App Store under Software Update or in the Mac Dev Center.

As promised, Apple has seeded the very first OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta to developers. Only registered developers of the Developers Program will be able to taste the features of this OS X build full of new window management and improved gestures among other features.

This developer beta build is expected to show off more features in the OS X build than Apple did at the event today. Hang in while we scour the Internet for some awesome features and delicious wallpapers right from this latest OS X 10.11 beta 1 build by Apple!

The OS X 10.11.6 update, build 15G12a, can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.

OS X 10.11.6, like OS X 10.11.5 and the El Capitan updates that came before it, appears to focus mainly on performance improvements and bug fixes. According to Apple’s release notes for the first beta, OS X 10.11.6 improves the stability, compatibility, and security of Macs.

Apple today seeded the second beta of an upcoming OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan update to developers for testing purposes, two weeks after releasing the first OS X 10.11.6 beta and three weeks after the public release of OS X 10.11.5.

No outward-facing bug fixes or changes were found in the first beta but we’ll update this post if any new features are discovered in the second beta.
